Making positive impact
We were initially tasked to refresh an outdated website. This also involved evolving the brand identity to include new typefaces and graphic elements. The focus of the design was show the impact of the work done, helping tell positive human stories alongside the more academic content.
Expert knowledge
With many global projects and resources available on the site and frequently referenced within the CVE expert community, a key aspect was to make the site content both easy to manage and locate. Project and resource libraries do this by giving site visitors a range of filtering options.
Research projects
As well as active community and government programs across the world, Hedayah also conducts important research that builds a better understanding of how extremist organisations operate within communities. A recent major project investigated the effect of COVID-19 on extremist narratives. We helped to bring this research to life through microsites featuring evidence sliders and data visualisations.

The reports and microsite present in-depth research for subject matter experts. To make the findings more accessible in an executive-summary format, we created short animated videos highlighting the key takeaways.
